The Show

The Phantom of the Opera is a musical
written by Andrew Lloyd Webber,
based on the novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux.
It premiered in London in 1986,
where it has enjoyed an unbroken run,
except during the pandemic,
for 8 performances per week,
52 weeks a year.

This new version fully respects the tradition,
while also adding dynamism
and special effects to the modern taste,
including a new flaming chandelier
that swings over the audience with the Phantom on it.
